Let the Games Go On

Dry climate flooding is a problem that affects many developments. Baseball fans in Ponce knew that the slightest hint of rain would most likely mean a rain-delay.

When the city invested in renewing the infrastructure for the Paquito Montaner Baseball Stadium, the city took the opportunity to explore solutions to make rain-delays a problem of the past. Sani Plant stepped in to provide a storm water retention and drainage system that allows rain to seep through and deliver a terrain dry enough to play ball minutes after the rain stops.

Nowadays, thanks to the all weather terrain and exceptional drainage system the Paquito Montaner Stadium is home to hundreds of sports event. When in 2006 the Iberamerican Games were held in Ponce the Paquito Montaner stadium was one of the main centers of action. Below we include a news article published in "La Perla del Sur" newspaper regarding the preparations for the games. Note that the quality of the terrain was all the talk.
